A newer brand to the states is Insight. I first discovered them in a skateshop over in Santa Monica with a friend while on a business trip. Shortly after we had the honor of checking out their upcoming line from Surf Expo which is held in Orlando twice a year. The Aussie company is exploding here in the states with amazing pieces and creative concepts.

Karl from Monaux (Australia) has a great illustration style that transulates well to apparel. With various styles and excellent color selections, his work is something to be desired. Few of his clients includes: Mooks Clothing Co, Target, Von Zipper, Volcom and many others.

With the success of the Hydro74 books, the next batch of books are being developed. Legacy of Defeat is excited to get these wrapped up and launch them soon.

•Apparel & The Designer
This book is still on the look out for designers. This is also a project that will be on going throughout the year. For each book released 5 artist will be selected and given 10 pages to showcase their work along with a up and coming apparel company. If you are interested, contact us and let us know.

•Resourced and Abused
This is going to be a collection of high quality vector Illustrations and Typography that are royality free. No live traced found art, unless of couse it’s a illustration that needed to be beaten up. This book will be far more costly than any other book provided by Legacy of Defeat, however with the materials involved, it will pay for itself in no time at all. This book will be the spawn of Hydro74 as well as a few other selected designers to assist with providing trend driven design work that is usable for whatever the needs are.
